BLITHE SPIRIT
July 2019
Woodstock, NY
I played Elvira in the riotous farce BLITHE SPIRIT, and received rave reviews! "The provocative ghost Elvira (Megan Bones), dressed like a mod “sex kitten” from a spy spoof, with mannerisms to match, is superb". ~ Frances Marion Platt, Hudsonvalleyone.com.
"In Megan Bones’ hands, Elvira is a scene-stealing apparition reminiscent of Jane Fonda’s iconic Barbarella. Clearly a bit too much to handle. Ms. Bones is as alluring and “blithe” as could have been imagined by the playwright, her performance is a joy to watch."~Joe Eriole, Hudson Valley Ovation.
